After Jim and I walked Codie and Katie last night, we stood in front of our house and were chatting with our landlord, Ana, and a few neighbors. A cop drove by and then pulled over in front of us. He got out and asked if I had my dog's tags (the ones the indicate that they're up to date on their shots and rabies shots). I said, "Yes, I have them. They're right up there in my apartment, I'll go get them." Then he said, "Sorry, but I have to give you a ticket."

I was right outside my front door but he gave me a ticket anyway! I didn't know I had to carry those tags with me whenever I walk my dogs. I NEVER see anyone carring those tags with them! I told him that I am going to fight the ticket and he said I should because I will win. Then Jim asked him, "If I am going to win, why bother giving me a ticket in the first place"? The cop just shook his head and gave us the ticket!!
