I am like Nicole (TLC)... I use the litter box with a puppy pad in it -- mmmmuch cheaper than the litter and easier to deal with. Nutro makes a training treat that has a very strong smell/taste to it. I ONLY use it for a potty treat - and I only give him 1/4 of the treat ! Otis loves it and sometimes all I have to do is show him the bag and he runs to his liter tray/puppy pad ! I also have had problems with his occasionally not going all the way into the box to pee - but he has learned that if I see him and say "ALL THE WAY" that he goes right in ! I would suggest finding a treat that your pup can't resist and only use that for potty time. Good luck !
