Kozanna Chihuahua walked up to me while I was sitting on the couch and looked up at me like she wanted up on the couch with me, so I just reached down and picked her up and put her on the couch. That's a breakthrough! I expected her to run away when I reached for her, but she was obviously telling me she wanted up on the couch with me. That's the first time she's communicated any of her wants to me. Hooray! She's learning that she can ask and get what she wants. I've been working on getting her to come when called and spend time just sitting with her, talking to her and petting her. I'll start working with her on a leash pretty soon. I'm proud of my little baby.
