Well said, I guess we all have our ways to doing things. I know the eggs don't all drop at once so my biggest fear of breeding only one or two times, and if timing is off, you may just have one puppy and that to me puts the female at a greater risk, since singletons have a tendency to get big. During my 10 plus years of breeding Yorkies I have not had a problem with underdeveloped puppies being born. Not to say that it can't happen.
