Not necissarily. Rex is 7months old and is at 10lbs. Other yorkie's on here that i know of that "tip the scales" are Brownie, Sammi, and Sully (hope your enjoying being 1year old!)
p.s.~Rex was 6lbs at around 10-12 weeks..your baby will most likely end up at 10-13bs
