I take my daughter's Yorkie in the shower with me and then I get a towel and dry her on the carpet in front of the vanity. She does like to get all wrapped up in the towel and she rubs her face on the carpet. Then I brush and dry her on low heat with the hair dryer. She seem to like it, and is real frisky after the bath.
