Elizabeth, I just think vets are way out of line recommending vaccinations the same day as major surgery. Plus teeth?? No way! My vet suggested the same thing. But I waited on the rabies vac. Bo had 4 teeth pulled also, as well as a dew claw removed. And believe me, it was plenty for him to deal with. There's always the possibility of a reaction with any vaccine. You're smart to ask for opinions about this. I didn't even argue with my vet. I just said we'd get the rabies vac after Bo was well recovered from surgery. Remind us on the 17th so we can be praying for Wexy!!
