That is great news about the emergency vet sending the records to your personal vet.

Something that I have begun since adopting Charlie, I always ask for a copy of his file (ie visit and notes the doctor makes in his file) and store in a binder at home. That way, if he is taken somewhere else, I don't have to try to remember dates, etc. Also, copies of blood tests are essential to have in your binder. Mine is sectioned with visits (their records), blood tests, vaccinations and miscellaneous such as new foods, etc.

Both of my vets are more than willing to give me copies at no charge. Warmly, Deborah
