I had breast reconstruction w/implants in April of 2004. I found a lump in my left breast, the biopsy came back 'suspicious for cancer.' The surgeon took out the lump and a *huge* area of surrounding tissue. It was benign - thank goodness - but I had a huge crater in my left breast. My plastic surgeon worked with me to position the implant and other breast tissue to fill in the crater. I would prefer to have my old breasts back, but I'm thankful I'm cancer free.
One of these days, I want to have a chemical peel and maybe an eyelid lift thingy.
