I got Brooke's whelping area all set up today in her special playpen, but she hates it. I wanted her to get comfortable with it before she actually started having babies, so I introduced it to her today...but as soon as I put her in it she starts freaking out. Should I change it? Move it? Just try to put her in it when she actually goes into labor? I'm not sure if it has to do with being with me, or just that she hates the pen in general, but her favorite place to hide is under my bed and I just can't let her roam. I'm too afraid she'll go to hide under there and the next thing I know she'll be having them somewhere I can't reach!
