Have your hubby think of it this way. You said you have three other children right? When you were potty training them, did they have accidents on the carpets? I know mine did, lots. And on the couches too! In fact, last night she had an accident on the carpet and she will be five soon! I cleaned it with simple solutions like I would after my puppy and we laughed that the bottle needed a picture of a little girl on the bottle with the puppies
Anyway, that's the way I see it. Sarah's accidents have not ruined my carpets and neither will Tucker's. Good Luck with hubby. I think you just need to remind him that the puppy stage will pass sooner than he thinks. In fact dogs learn pottying way sooner that kids do
