I did the same thing several month ago... my son came home and told me there was 2 poodles down the road and one was laying on the side of the road , he said it looked like it was hit by a car. I jumped in the car and went down the road..one was dead

..I got the other one to come to me . I brought it home, called the police and told them what happened. I gave them my phone number so that when the owner called they would know where their dog was. It was so hard to tell them one of their dogs was dead. They said the dogs got away from them. But, they were happy I kept the other dog from getting hit.
