Sorry to hear about your loss.......... and also a congrats on your new puppy. You ask some really good questions and hope you hear some good answers. It is true that the AKC does not recognize a "teacup" Yorkie. You can read about the standard on the AKC sight. There are so many bad breeders that use the "Teacup" sales pitch..... and it really irritates some Yorkie owners that truly love the breed and want to see it continue with success.
