I think the key is to ignore or down play the introductions. I always say daddy's home and my dogs go nuts for their daddy. But we don't have excitement pee... If we did it would be a different story.
my dog growing up used to pee on my dad's foot when he came home. He would get her all excited then she would pee and he would be mad. By the way, being mad can make them pee too!!!
