Yorkie is just a shortened version of yorkshire terrier..like a nickname.... but it is the same thing. there IS no such thing as a teacup yorkie. yorkies are in the TOY category. what some people call a teacup is just a tiny yorkie. tiny yorkies tend to have more health problems because of thier size. some breeders breed too small of yorkies to get tiny tiny puppies, call them teacups and sell them at inflated prices. a reputable breeder breeds for the standard which is up to 7 lbs. when a "breeder" calls a yorkie a teacup, they usually do it to get a much higher price for it. I am so sorry to hear of your baby dying. that is so sad and often the result when a yorkie is so small. I hope you have a nice healthy baby now. |
