The vet hasn't seen Ciara yet, but I talked to him when I had Lucy in to see him. He never even mentioned abortion. I didn't know that was even possible. He said that there was nothing to be done until she was far enough along to do an xray. The xray would show if her pelvis is large enough, in relation to the size of the puppies, for her to deliver them normally or if she should have a planned C-section. So I will take her in in a week or so for him to decide when to do the xray. He should be able to feel puppies by then, if there are any. She's on a high grade puppy food now. I will prepare for puppies and see what happens. That's all I know to do at this point.
