Going through what steps? Basic things have to be done to show. Quality dog must be purchased, basic supplies and equipment must be bought, entries must be paid for, transportation must be had. Sure you may find a better deal on a minivan but that's not the point. The point is it kinda snow balls and if you thought you were going to make some money doing this and show to you quickly find that it just doesn't happen. My vet is glad that I breed, and AKC is delighted. Me, I'm just having fun and have given up the idea of making enough to pay off my student loan. I work for a living, I breed so that I can show. It's kinda like golf, you don't expect to be Tiger Woods and get rich, you just do your best and have fun! The story was to keep things light, so be light!!! Life is about more than money, it's about making people smile. I just gave a retired gal away to a woman who has always wanted a yorkie. Didn't make a penny, even gave a way a crate and food but we both got a smile.
