No problem...you will find that you will be offered help and support from great breeders when you show that you are willing to learn, go about things the right way and not rush into it.
Just remember, good things come to those who wait. (I think it was around 3 years that I was in contract with my breeders before I got my first breeding pair...and I was researching on my own before that.) Kudos for hanging in there.
Just keep asking around...your vet may be able to recommend you to someone as well. Also, see if there are any local groups or affiliate clubs you could check out too.
