That's spooky I've just posted this on another forum:
Some dogs do not like the liquid stuff that you have to squish into their ears. So I use a dry powder called Thornit. It's an old fashioned remedy that my family have used for many, many years. As it's still in production, I guess it can't be all bad.
It has many uses:
anti-ear mite,
anti-canker,
if your doggie has "flop bot" and it's not anal gland problems, it could be a mite's breeding bed - just dust this stuff on,
if your doggies constantly chews paws - try dusting this on,
a light dusting in waxy ears and a gentle clean with a cotton bud will help to shift the wax,
some ear mites can transfer to the body and cause intense itching/scratching -often diagnosed as an idiopathic allergy - try dusting this on the skin,
dust it on your fingers and it makes it much easier to pluck the hair from the ear canal.

Best of all, you will NOT be self-medicating antibiotics to your fluffs.

A little goes a very long way.
Available in the UK HERE and several other places, I have no doubt. I haven't done an online search for other countries but if you can't get it where you are and really, really want it, PM me.

This commercial has been brought to you but someone who is totally unrelated to the product
