I am not sure if it is true what they say, but I have read that when you get a new dog always be ready to lose 3 things in your house due to their destruction...
hmmmm....so far I've only got clawed leather furniture from Schatzie hiding her small toy balls. So, she no longer is allowed small balls. Of course you can't remove your carpet so maybe some Apple Bitter spray on the carpet might detour some chewing., or a large play pen for confignment might work until your little one is trained to be "in the house nicely without any confignment to aid in destruction and can be trusted"...
