LOL...well this "group" needs to share the wealth!
I just sit here and think about the $$ invested in breeding stock, the travel involved with it, cost of food, vet care, time with dogs and the litters, cost of testing and routine care for adults and puppies, grooming supplies,...and that's just the very basics...then add to that costs for those who show, travel, hire handlers, entry costs, cost w/ registration/clubs, etc. Heck, I dropped nearly $100 in PetSmart yesterday for a months worth of food/supplies alone for 3 dogs and no litter whatsoever.
Thinking of how every little thing adds up, I definately see dollar signs, but they are all
RED!
Again, I'd have to really question if they were making this money in an "ethical" fashion, (Which I guess depends on what you consider "ethical too.) I'd question anyone who had to put so much thought into 'advertising.' Most breeders that I consider 'ethical' have waiting lists or are breeding for themselves and don't have a need to selectively advertise.
