Sounds like you are doing some things right but maybe worrying a bit too much. Yes, they will bond with each other first--they were puppies together; yes, they need separate time with y'all but those babies need to sort out which of them is the alpha and how they relate will be determined by their understanding of their positions. We cannot micro-manage (I am not saying you are, but making a general observation,) or we will have very neurotic dogs. My big reason for telling people not to buy littermates is because they carry the same genes for problems and when one gets sick, most likely the other will have the same problems at the same time. My friend who writes the pet column for our paper says that she will never have littermates again. Her dogs were and they got sick and bothdied within 3 months of each other. She was totally devastated...
