Q-tip story:
My daughter had to go to the doctor recently (for some pretty intense issues)..anyway, she was embarrassed when they wanted to look in her ears because she had been very sick and just hadn't been up to cleaning them....
The doctor said that her ears were very very clean! My daughter was shocked and said that she hadn't cleaned them out in a long time (probably a week because of her beeing so sick).
The doctor said...never clean your ears w/ Q-tips
(which we do it seems twice a day ever since we were little)...because it just pushed the wax/dirt further into your ear canal and can cause more problems.
She said that when you shower, just use your wash cloth to clean your ears and that is all that you need!
I never knew!!!
