 Potty Pads
I started with the disposable pads, but Emmy would just shred them. I even tried buying a frame that keeps them more secure. Still she shredded. Now I am using the cloth pads. I ordered them online for a lot cheaper price than they sell them at Petsmart. I like them a lot. She is using them consistently. She has learned to do both...go outside and use the pads. I wash a load of them every two days. It works out great! Mozart, my 10 year old yorkie, is only trained to go outside. The thing I like about using the pads is that you do not have to worry as much if you are delayed one day and can't get to them quite as quickly as you usually do. Also, Emmy is only 4.5 lbs, so there are times when she wants to go during the night. She just jumps out of bed uses the pad and jumps right back in. It has worked well so far. |
