Punkin had LP surgery in August and we carry her often in a front carrier. It's amazing how many people stop us to give us advice that dogs need exercise. We let Punkin walk some, but when want to walk more than she is allowed we carry her so she can still be with us. I do find the carrier is hard on my back, so I'm now on a mission to get a stroller

I have people telling me that all the time too. I only let them in the stroller after they have already walked 20 or 30 min and they are tired. They have their way of telling me they want in by walking towards the stroller and looking at it. I can tell when they want back out to walk again. I usually just tell people that they have already walked and are resting now. While I am pushing it empty it carries the babies water bottle, collapsible bowl, doggie bags and my mace spray.
