OK, I'm at the last straw. I canNOT get my puppy to quit going to the bathroom in the house....both #1 & #2! We have a mature female (4 years old)...so you'd think he'd at least get the hint. She never goes on the floor. Finally today I found where he'd hiked his leg on my dining room table chair (!!!) and I nearly lost it!! He was neutered about six weeks ago. He's almost eight months old. SO, in desperation, I went to Petco today and bought a doggie litter box with the pellet litter. He #2'd on the dining room floor shortly thereafter, so I carefully picked it up (noooo, silly, with tissue) and put it IN the litter box. He acts insulted!! Three times I've caught him eating the pellets, but I didn't think it wise to scold him much if I want him to use the litter. Has anyone else used this litter box thingy? What else can I do to encourage him to use it? I've been very diligent about taking them outside, but he just saves it up and goes INside.
