I had Button done last autumn & he's a real live wire!
The vet said,"Keep him quiet for a week, no jumping, preferably till the stitches come out in 3 weeks."
!!!!!!!
For the first 2 days I had to confine him to a crate to stop him dashing about with the others, jumping on the sofas etc........he howled the place down
So then I gave up & let him out. He was fine, despite charging around everywhere at breakneck speed.
He only had two tiny stitches & it was easy to keep them clean by just bathing them every day for the first week with a teaspoon of salt dissolved in a pint of water.
