The heavy oil seems to irritate the skin and though I have the furniture covered with sheets to accomodate him, the oil draws dirt. Connor is definitely a high energy boy who just loves to run. In fact I have a real problem with him at out door shows. He insists on hopping through the grass. I've learned from experience that he can hop very slowly to accomodate me no matter how slowly I walk. I refuse to keep him locked up in a pen as I've been advised to do so I guess I'll just have to keep baby sitting that coat and picking grass out of it. Your boy is gorgeous so apparently acting like a dog is working for him. |
Oh gosh I could never keep him in a pen...and yes I was advised early on to keep them off the floor and grass but I just can't do it! He has beautiful coat and he's never kept in a pen except for when I'm gone and when he sleeps because that is where he prefers his crate. Summerwinds is a light oil and OMG on a real silky coat works wonders. It doesn't leave anything on the furniture at all. For a silky coat Summerwinds is the bomb! I just keep him in that and wraps and that's all I do. He gets bathed once a week and I can't believe how well his coat does. He's my pet first as are all my show dogs and pets.
