When you start getting AKC dogs, you will need a postivie way to identify your adult dogs also. Tatto or microchip is what AKC requires. You also need to have a scanner in your home in case AKC does come in. I have always heard that AKC won't come in unless there is a complaint but I have also heard from people on here that AKC came when people only had a couple of breeding dogs. You will also need your own scanner in the home when they come.
