Aww man, tell me about it! I watch these shows too and a couple days ago I was watching one that had a house that was only 1000 square feet and it was selling for 8-900K. WHAT? In my area of Texas, an approx. 2500 sq. ft house would be maybe $250,000. A $900,000 house here would more likely be about 5000 sq. ft.! When we sold our 1400 sq. ft. house a few years ago to build our bigger one, it sold for $114,000. Huge difference!
I have to keep telling myself that people that live in those pricier areas make more in salary than we do so I guess it kinda evens out.
