Yeah, Joey is almost 5 months old and I have been wondering the same thing about letting him roam around my apartment. He does so well some days, but then last night he came running in with this HUGE piece of styrofoam in his mouth - it took me forever to get it out of his mouth....I think to myself, what if I wasn't there and he swallowed something like that and couldn't breathe? I wish I could let him roam free, because I don't want him to have to stay in his pen for most of the day, but I just don't think he's ready
