I had the same problem with archie. I got him at around 12 weeks old, when I picked him up at the airport I did not notice anything but when I took him to vet 2 days later she said his ears were a tad red and she thought it was the beginning of an ear infection. I gave him the same drops and it went away fairly quickly, I have had him for 2 months now and he has not had another problem like that
