I know this is shameful - but I am bumping myself.
I talked with the vet about pancreatis and she didn't seem to feel that his symptoms were consistent. She also indicated that there were no signs on the x-ray or in his bloodwork, but I know you both suggested an ultrasound?
They sent Bogart home yesterday and he hasn't been able to keep a meal down yet. He throws up his food anywhere from 30 min - 6 hours (throwing up food in the am after sleeping) after eating. Although his energy is a bit low, he really doesn't have any other symptoms I can notice. His vomit (sorry) just looks like his food moistened and spit back up. The doctors have him on Pepcid (2x day), the pink antibiotic (2x day), some syrup to coat his stomach 1 hour before eating (Metoclopramide syrup), and Carafate (3x a day crushed up in his food). He is eating I/D, which I did notice contains turkey????
Ugh, anyone have any advice? I have a $780 vet bill from earlier this week and still no real answers. The poor guy can't keep down food!!! Please help! |
