From my experience most shelters in GA are kill shelters. THe overpopulation here is just too big to only have no kill shelters.
On the athens AC website (
www.athenspets.net), they list if the dog was rescued, adopted, or euthanized. Its quite heartbreaking to see the ones that didn't make it.
