We saw one at a basketball tournament for our daughter. The lady was at the registration table and had her dog with her. That dog's personality stuck out like a non-sore, but BIG, thumb. Beyond just being real cute, he was absolutely charming. So we started talking to her about the breed. Their personality is very distinct. Every time we went out to the lobby, both my husband and I just kept being drawn back to that dog. She said that wasn't unusual. And then we just kept talking about him after that day....... 3 pc's later, I still have all my internet bookmarks on Mi-Ki's saved
But you're right, that's the problem, they each look so different that people were (are?) trying to pass off different breeds and mixes as a Mi-Ki.
