I heard corn/ wheat were bad for yorkies, but I figured since Lilly didn't react (as far as I knew) and the vet sells it, it was okay. She was originally put on it because the Royal Canin she was eating prior was upsetting her tummy. The Purina EN is chicken and rice. BUT I will definately switch it to one of the foods recommeneded ASAP. I have a new baby as well,so home cooking is a bit hard for me at this point. It really makes me feel better to hear everyone's advice. It's nice support!!
I will also do the yogurt thing, as I do have a whole foods here.
Lilly acts as her usual self, but I know that she's itchy. Still red, her ears look A Ton better. I will definately keep everyone posted.  Lizette |
Thank you for updating us on how your baby is doing. So very glad to hear she's doing better
As for the food, mine also were allergic to the corn in some of the foods - at least Gabby was - I now have them on Nutro Lamb and Rice small bites....they LOVE it!! No more "itchies" or upset tummies
