Well. We used to have a variety of animals. Cattle, pigs, chickens, geese, ducks, i think goats, etc. But my grandpa got to where he just had cattle, and my dad has cattle too. After my grandpa passed away a couple of years ago my grandma didn't want to have to sell the cattle, but didn't want anyone to burden themselves (they have 4 sons) to take care of them. But my dad sold a couple of his an offered to put Grandpas cattle with his and take care of them for grandma. So we run an average of 80 head of cattle and right now I think we have 20 babies, but it's times for alot more, we calve in March/April/May. I love this time of year!!! We have about 400 acres, and we bail hay. Our house/barn is connected with the pasture that is connected to grandmas barn/barn lot/house. So we're all right there together. I love it!
