I have one that has hair like that too. I got so tired of the matts that I did shave her down. It is just so much easier than trying to brush her so much every day. She looks pretty cute in a short cut. I have tried SO many different conditioners and shampoos and oils... non of them really seem to help. They make her hair nice and soft but don't really help with matting.
I just enjoy the longer hair on my other two.
