Yeah, that would mean she was bred back to back heats. (unless she goes into heat every 3 mo, which I doubt).

I know there are lots of great breeders out there that breed 2 cycles, then skip one. I just choose not to. I like to give the female time to get back to a healthy weight--I know my girl always has some "extra baggage" afterwards. Also, I think it's beneficial to get a good idea of how the previous litter turns out. I just can't imagine restarting the whole process so soon after the previous litter left. But again, that's just me...it may not be what is best for others in other situations.
