Gus does this too. But for him it's the warmth. He loves rolling in the warm clothes. He wont do it if they have been sitting in the dryer for sometime and have already cooled off. He knows when I'm headed for the laundry room and is right there ready to jump on them as soon as I put them down. But that doesnt really bother me. what really bugs me,,,,,,,,, is when he uses them to clean the slobber off of his favorite rubber ball. I have posted about that darn ball a few times here on YT. He loves that ball so much. I once caught him climbing my dresser to it. I don't have the heart to thow it away. Even when we go to put something on and it's all stiff from dried Gus slobber.
