Ha! No kidding. He's like an alien these days. Eddie will probably have nightmares for years.

Rusty is actually doing fantastic with the e-collar. The first thing the vet tech told me was "He's very good at taking if off," but he's only knocked it off once and that's when I was home.

And he's not chewing when I take it off, so we get do do our walks without it.

That's interesting that he's never had the problem before. Even this time, it seemed to come on suddenly. I saw next to no symptoms. I'll have to ask the vet what could have brought it on so suddenly. He was sick and on antibiotics a couple weeks earlier. Who knows?

Haven't heard back from the vet yet on the last test. Cross your fingers.
