Honestly, given the situation you are in, I wouldn't hold much truth in what the breeder you got these girls from tells you. No, the vet will probably not be able to tell you if they are about to come into heat.
It's safest to assume it could happen at any moment and be prepared when it does. You need to check them frequently for signs (bleeding) and realize that it's not unheard of for there to be NO signs that they are in heat.
Also, understand that these girls may love each other and get along fine but he possiblity exist that when in heat, their personalities can change in an instant and they may try to rip each other to pieces.
I would seriously suggest that if they are not in heat, you speak w/ your vet about having them spayed ASAP before the opportunity for an "accidental breeding" presents itself. |
