ohhh my heart breaks when I hear the word shut up... to me it is a bad word .. I dont know why... I have cringed at people in the store telling their kids to shut up .... I cringe when I see it .. I sure hope you can find another word other than shut up to me it seems so mean....
I am not insinuating you said the "S" word nor am I saying you are mean I am just expressing how I feel when I hear that word....
also just put em in bed with you always works or a nightlight or music or a ticking clock
