Good kibbles: Natures Variety Instinct, Orijen 6-Fish, Wellness, Evangers, Canidae. There are others too - EllieMay's mom will have suggestions.

Ann,

Great post!! I have Gabby and Gage on Nutro Lamb and Rice.

To Lilly's mom: I used to feed Gabby and Gage a natural food Wal-Mart carried (we have NO pet supply stores here like Petsmart, Petco, etc) so I was limited to Wal-Mart or what vet carried. I joined YT in '05, did a lot of reading, and realized there was a better quality of food out there that was of more benefit to my babies than what I currently had them on. I researched lots of them through this forum and those who fed their babies what food and why and researched ingredients on the websites of the makers of the food. I picked Nutro for no particular reason and Gabby and Gage love it! And fortunate for me, a Lawn and Garden place here in town now carries Nutro so I don't have to drive an hour away to get their food. You can't go wrong with a high-quality food - and it is so worth it for our babies

Best of luck and please keep us posted!
