Yes, you have been seeing the "puppy coat". You really won't know what your Yorkie's adult coat will look like until you see it for yourself as it changes over time. You may want to research the breed more rather than jump right in to one. I'd suggest reading through this forum. Go back as many pages as needed. You'll get the good and the bad. It will be like doing an internship ... hands on rather than just book knowledge. You will find some true Yorkie fanatics here. We all love our Yorkies regardless of age.
