Needless to say the vet was taking them out and handing them to me, I dried and suctioned and handed them to my SIL who slung. It was a MESS! And since the mom was under she couldn't take care of the babies so we did every two hours for the first 24 hours. The second litter (one of her daughters (that's another story) started to have them at 9pm and was just pushing and pushing and we had a couple that were breech and dry and we worked them for ever I think. Two she had under my bed (fun getting to them) and the rest she had in my closet (nowhere near her box). she had 6 all black males and she is yellow. Let's just say I stopped having labs. |
