My question is, how small were your babies when they were spayed?

Thanks!
I had my little girl spayed at 1 year but she only weighed 2 pounds 2 ounces and did great.
Last week I had a tiny little guy neutered, he was crypt as he only had one down. He weighed at 8 months 1 pound 6 ounces and did great also.
I guess I would have to say it deppends on how much experiences your vet has with the tiny ones.
Also make sure they run a blood chemistry to make 100% sure nothing is wrong with her such as a cold or low blood cell count and so on before they do the surgery. It's best to have this done the day of surgery since so much can change with these little ones in a days time.
Good Luck.
