My vet told me the very same thing. My initial thought was that with the added stress of shipping him just prior to his exam, he had "sucked" those things up inside himself somewhere. 30 hours in a crate and 3 flights total, I can see why he'd be scared to death! BUT he IS 8 months old...you'd think that they'd be down by now. Hmmm....He got here Thursday evening; it's now Monday; I don't think it's coming back, if it ever were there.
But yes, my vet did tell me that it is possible for a pup's testicles to drop and then go back up into the abdomen and drop again later on.
