That said, I have seen some really really good fakes where it's hard to tell the difference. However, the one you posted is not one of them, I'm afraid. There are so many "tells" right off the bat just from that one picture I know not everyone can afford the real thing, but something like this can be bought used or you can just save up for it. It really is worth it to get the authentic item, if you put them side by side you'll see the difference immediately.
Good luck with your new bag, it IS adorable and I understand why you bought it. I have one fake LV Speedy that I bought from a member here, knowing it was a replica, and unless you know a particular designer inside and out, it's super hard to tell the difference. But I won't ever buy another "designer inspired" bag, after I learned the facts that I posted above. The reason I am posting those facts is that you may be unaware of them, and I'm hoping that in the future, you'll remember them maybe
Remember, just my opinion, with a few basic facts. I'm NOT trying to stir up controversey, just to help shed light on why those bags are so cheap. |
You mentioned some good points...however, I do have a question as to the accuracy of your basic facts? I dont see any source of where this information came from?
For me, its helpful to include some sort of information with the facts/info we post about, because otherwise its almost hear-say. Then we are continuing to pass along facts that are unfounded...almost like spreading rumors. IMO
Ive purchased plenty of both fake & real purses. IMO... most fakes can be identified by not having the label/tag inside of the purse, stiching may be a little off... and on most LV's (and I think Coach) have cerial numbers & locks that you will not find on a fake... And for me, thats quite alright. I mean, when I go out and get a compliment on my handbag, that person doesnt inspect the bag to make sure its real?!? I change my purses almost daily... which probably helps mine not get worn down. I definately wouldnt wear a knock off on a consistant daily basis... I've also had a name brand BEBE bag that was well over 100+ and got worn out quicker than anybag I've had.
With that said, its all a matter of your fashion sense and style... Just Do You

I personally think the bag is super cute... But, there's no way hubby is letting me buy another carrier right now...especially since she's hardly ever in her other three
