I haven't read the other replys so I'm sure you've already heard this, but NO yorkies and throw rugs are not a good match
in fact I've found that dogs of any kind and rugs are not a good match! I've finally given up on having them in my house. I do have the ones you can wash in my kitchen, but I'm about tired of washing those so they may go too!
